Analysis: 'Treaty of Waitangi' Comic For High School Students Has Been Quietly Brainwashing Away Since 2018 (Part 29)

Above are the first two pictures of the comic we have been analysing. Today we are starting on page 10.

HERE is the whole comic.

If you want to know why we are analysing this comic, just refer to blogs for the last few days.

In short, the comic was released into schools in 2018  to brainwash our children.

What is its purpose?

Maori Activists inside the Labour government, particularly the Maori caucus, supported by the Greens and Te Pati Maori, plus a hoard of woke bureaucrats are grooming our children so that when our children leave school and become old enough to vote, they will vote for the Maori activist cause.

In this way, so their plan goes, Maori will be able to legitimately and legally take over the country.  That is to say, they are grooming our children to vote for the Maori activist cause.  This comic is therefore propaganda.

What’s happening here is exactly what happened in other regimes in the 1920s and 30s, preparing the ground for dictatorship. In the case of New Zealand, it’s  preparing the country for tribal rule.

Hitler had his Hitler Youth.

Now we have the “Maori Youth” mirroring them, as evidenced by the actions of Female Hurricanes, the students of a Palmerston North School, and the Maori who tried to stop the fishing contest in Northland. Here is another example – click HERE and  click HERE

So what is there to say about these pictures on page 10?

—————————–

The first picture says “Before 1840, almost all the land and natural resources of Aotearoa belonged to Maori.”

This is not true.  Settlers started to arrive soon after 1800 and continued to arrive up until the Treaty was first signed on February 6th, 1840.

When these settlers arrived, they purchased land from Maoris.

These land sales were recorded by H.H Turton, based in Sydney.  HERE is a list of the pre-1840 land sales.

If one adds up all the land sales in just this document, they add up to around 22 million acres of land sold.

New Zealand’s total land area is 66 million acres.

The second thing I noticed in our pictures today is that the comic writers persist in using the wrong name of our country.  It’s not Aotearoa.  It’s New Zealand.  We know why they are doing this. They are grooming school age students, getting them ready for tribal rule.

So when the comic says “Chiefs who signed Te Tiriti were told unless they decided otherwise, this wouldn’t change.”

The subliminal message is, once again, that the British lied to Maori.  That is to say, Maori were promised by the British that they would not ‘lose’ their land, but the British broke their promise and ‘stole’ Maori land.

This is another great lie.  As I have said, Maori ‘sold’ at least 1/3 of the area of New Zealand prior to 1840 and went on to sell 92% of all the land in New Zealand.  Proof of this fact is HERE.

Why do the activists, these comic writers, for they are the same thing, go out of their way to paint the British as liars, tricksters, and fraudsters?   Answer? They want to play on the emotions of the students reading the comic to stir up sympathy for the Maori activist cause and anger towards the British.  What is the affect?  These comic writers are recruiting our children, grooming them, to join in with the Maori activist cause.   They also want to introduce our children to ideas like white supremacy, genocide, and the evils of colonialism. This is propaganda, plain and simple.

Then today’s pictures go on to say “Remember, Maori were guaranteed tino rangatiratanga – absolute authority – over their land, villages, and taonga. But it didn’t turn out that way.”

Lies and truth are mixed up here to create a toxic brew.  It is true that were guaranteed the absolute authority over their land, villages, and taonga.  But the key question is ‘what did this mean?’

Answer? It meant that the British would not forcefully take Maori land, villages, and taonga (i.e. property).  Now here is a key point – the British, via the Treaty, were wanting to assure Maori that not only would the British not take ‘the stuff’ Maori owned, but they would stop others (like settlers and other Maori tribes) from stealing their stuff.  That is all.

We operate in the same way in 2024.  The government guarantees to protect private land and the possessions of private citizens through the rule of law and the police.

This is EXACTLY what the British were promising the Maori chiefs, and only this.  Maori chiefs were free to carry on with their cultural practices, as long as those practices did not infringe British law i.e. slavery, war, murder, infanticide etc.

Yet these comic writers twist this narrative to make it sound like the British stole Maori land. How do we know? The comic writers say it – “But it didn’t turn out that way.”

As I have explained, Maori land was not stolen. Maori sold their land.

Summary? More lies and deceit from our comic writers, all intended to groom our children to join in with the Maori activist cause.

As I have said, we must get behind Winston, Jones and Seymour, Luxon, emailing them regularly with encouragement and our full support to expunge co-governance and Maorification from New Zealand.

Leaders need encouragement constantly.

Email Luxon urging him to do what the people of New Zealand elected him to do, which was to rid the country of Maorification and co-governance.

Warn him that he will be a one term PM if he doesn’t.

So what is there to say about today’s picture in the comic?

—————————–

I have spent the last six months studying the correspondence between the Governors of New Zealand in period 1840 – 1845 (Hobson, Fitzroy, Grey) and the Colonial Office In London.

Two things strike me about this correspondence.

First, the governors were under strict instruction to follow the directives of the Colonial Office in London.  The Colonial Office represented the British government, and the Government represented the Queen.

What the Governors were told to do, they did do.  Sometimes there were misunderstandings between the Governor and the Colonial Office about what was instructed by the Colonial Office. Thus, the instructions of the Colonial Office were not always executed exactly to plan by the Governor.   This was to be expected.   But it was a rare occurance.  It took 3 months to sail from New Zealand to London with a report from a Governor, and 3 months on the return journey from the Colonial Office back to the governor – minimum 6 months. This does not take into account any time taken, either end, to discuss and respond to correspondence. There was no email, text, fax, or phone.  No Google or Facebook.  Just ships.

What we can say is that, generally speaking, the instructions were carried out to the letter.

That second thing that strikes me about the correspondence between the Governors and the Colonial Office, and vice versa, was that what was communicated was honest and frank.   These were official reports, recorded for all time.  Big decisions were being made on the basis of these reports, large amounts of money were involved, and the lives of many people.   Therefore, accuracy and honesty were paramount.

With that in mind, let’s talk about today’s pictures in the comic. We could argue all day about what  certain words meant in the Treaty in 1840, and what the British meant by those words, and what Maori understood those words to mean.

From the correspondence between the Colonial Office and the Governors, the British were 100% certain they ‘got’ sovereignty.   By ‘sovereignty’ we mean complete control to govern this country, which includes all Maori, completely, and forever. There is absolutely nothing in the correspondence between the Governors and the Colonial Office to suggest that Maori only gave permission for the British to govern unruly settlers, and not Maori.  This suggestion is pure fantasy.  It’s nothing but spin.  You can be absolutely certain that Maori chiefs signed over to the British the authority to rule over them, to govern them, through cession.

The British were 100% certain about some other things too.

For example:

  1. Maori owned all the land in New Zealand in 1840, except that which they had sold to settlers prior to 1840, which was about 1/3 of New Zealand.
  2. That when they promised Maori, in Article two, the “possession” of their land, dwellings and property, they only meant the land, dwellings and property that the chiefs owned in 1840.  If Maori after 1840 went on to sell their land, dwellings, and property, which they did, in fact 92% of their land, they can’t expect to get them all back in 2024, which is what they say they are wanting – which is what they say the Treaty promised them!  This too, is complete fantasy.  This is no what the Treaty promised.
  3. That the fisheries and coastlines belonged to all the people of New Zealand.  According to British law, the same law they installed in New Zealand in 1840 (i.e. domocracy), the oceans and beaches belong to all the citizens of the country.  In the James Freeman Rogue Version (JFRV) of the Treaty, the fraudulent version of the Treaty, the one used by the government as the official Treaty in English, there is mention of ‘fisheries’.  Even if we said this was the official treaty in English, which it’s not,  all the British were meaning was that Maori would still be able to go fishing with their hand lines in their favourite fishing spots.  Nothing more. Certainly not the whole ocean all around New Zealand out to twelve nautical miles, forever!  This too is nonsense. It’s the same with ‘forests’.  All the British were meaning in the Treaty was that Maori would not lose their access to the forests in New Zealand that they (i.e. the chiefs) actually owned as at 1840.  In other words, “Chiefs, if you cede sovereignty to us, the British, you’ll still be able hunt in the forests you now own, and you’ll still be able to go fishing in your favourite fishing spots.”  That is all. Period.  The activists have been able to construe meaning to words in the Treaty that are simply blatant lies.

From the speeches of the chiefs, and other records of what they said, we know for sure that the chiefs understood the Treaty, as it was intended to be understood, by the British.  The British were certain that the chiefs understood the Treaty, in the same way as the British understood the Treaty.

For people today in 2024 to spend endless hours speculating about what certain words meant in 1840, and about what the chiefs thought they meant in 1840, is fruitless, even ridiculous.  Why are they doing it?  Simply to obtain by fraud the assets and cash belonging to all New Zealanders.

Why should be not trust any of the interpretations of key words in the Treaty blasted out by activistsl in 2024? The people alive in 2024 who are doing this were not eyewitnesses at the actual 1840 events. They are therefore not in the best place to judge what really happened in 1840, and what both parties were really thinking and understanding in 1840.

Eyewitness accounts ought to be our sole source if we are looking for evidence of what key words in the Treaty meant in 1840.

For this we must study the correspondence between the Governors and the Colonial office.

Maori activists today don’t want us to study this correspondence.

Why?  Because it would bring the gravy train to a grinding halt. Their ideological overlays of the facts would come to a dramatic end.
