I believe the maori activist Ipapera Paniora with his petition to stop the STOP CO-GOVERNANCE tour and the moronic maori activists who have attempted to disrupt the STOP CO-GOVERNANCE tour are the best advertising Julian could have wished for. All publicity is good publicity. Despite the disruption these hypocritical tribal motons create at Julians functions, the stop co-governance message becomes amplified. Julian you deserve all the accolades NEW ZEALAND can bestow on you.
Isn’t it amazing how Maori activists claim that merely discussing the destruction of democracy is now supposedly a breach of their human rights and the treaty, not to mention racism.
Do they not realise that the laws of New Zealand apply equally to everyone and the police are present at the meetings because Maori activists are present and their reputations preceded them.
Guest speakers and invited attendees are now automatically labeled racist, because of their age group (senior citizens who who have paid heir dues to society) and their belief that co governance is not only illegal, but it will choke the life out of New Zealand.
How is this possible – is this actually New Zealand or have I fallen asleep and woken up in communist Russia or perhaps Nazi Germany of the late 1930’s – what on earth is going on. I wonder what the Atorney General will do ?
What will Meng Foon do ?
If the Attorney General and Meng Foon attempt to stifle the stop co governance movement through hate speech, racism, human rights of any other trumped up charge – there will be hell to pay !!
There is a head on collision coming between common sense and the lunatic fringe. Brace yourself everyone a battle is about to commence.
Interesting !!
I am concerned with the already existent and impending growth in apartheid within our communities that has been somewhat silently creeping into our day to day lives-I fear the horse has bolted and as Sir Robert Muldoon said re Treaty negotiations “once the lid is lifted from the can it will never be closed”
Sadly I doubt your movement will be interpreted in a well balanced meaningful manner by many, and judged as divisive and racist as already reported by media. Disruptive meetings (if allowed to proceed) and possibly violent outcomes driven by those that feel threatened by loss of perceived entitlement based on race will gain coverage as meetings are held.
Questionable as to effectiveness of public meetings ?
Your challenge is how to spread your message without being interpreted as anti Maori and although your text clearly states an “one nation equality” you have and will be projected as a facist/racist/right wing disruptive movement
Media will sensationalise upcoming meetings and perhaps target more vocal and angry supporters/ attendees as representative of your views-the media will intentionally project you as anti Maori and will be reluctant to allow a factual representation of your values and intentions.
I suggest as part of your meetings (if they proceed) attendees are made aware of the need to skillfully and succinctly express views in a non emotive manner to ensure public perception is not distorted, and your core beliefs are clearly communicated.
About to order a few books n after reading will either distribute or bin.
Best Regards
