Dean Begbie Whangarei Policeman The Subject Of IPCA Investigation
The photo on the left is Dean Begbie, Whangarei police.
This photo is of Dean Begbie outside the meeting, mixing and mingling with protesters.
He is happy, jovial, and relaxed.
Inside, with Julian Batchelor and his team, he is flustered and incompetent.
Below is a sample complaint one of our team posted to the IPCA

Good afternoon Sydney.
The organisers of the Stop Co-Governance event will submit the evidence on behalf of all complainants and it would be expected that in the meantime Sergeant Begbie is stood down from Police duties awaiting the outcome of the inquiry into his gross failure of duty.
For me, this will be a crux point that will decide whether the NZ Police has any intention of upholding the reputation it once had over 3 years ago.
I will be sharing this with thousands of other New Zealanders who will be similarly waiting for a credible outcome that should, in my opinion, call on Sgt Begbie’s resignation.
Yours Sincerely,

Whangarei Police Pathetic At Yesterday's Meeting
The photo on the left is Dean Begbie, Whangarei police.

Whangarei – A clear case of police colluding with protesters. Whether this is down to an individual woke senior policeman, of which there may well be many, and/or Government pressure as the election draws closer is unclear. What is crystal clear is that current police culture is such that Begbie thought that he could get away with his obvious bias, that it would be supported. What this says to me is that meetings cannot assume that police will be effective, so should if possible bump up numbers of own security, even if this is just to better enable a meeting to be gracefully shut down.
Shutting down gives protesters a proxy win, Ron.
Police have to do the job they are paid to do. Trespass charges! No more messing about.
Julian could do with a personal bodyguard when coming and leaving the venues. It would not take much for violence to rear it’s ugly head.
