New Zealand is like a bus headed for the cliff and the passengers all the people of our country.
The driver is Mahuta.
It is going to go over the edge if co-governance continues the way it is.
This bus has got to be stopped.
In today’s blog Dr John Robinson brings us up to date with the realities and consequences of co-governance. It makes for very sobering reading. You can read his piece here.
As has been pointed out by ONZF all roads lead to NZ’s one and only Founding Document The Royal Charter dated 16/11/1840.
This supersedes the TOW end of story.
Your correct Neil,
What is forgotten, while the Treaty was to make the tangata Maori British Subjects with the same rights as the people of England, do you think this would have happened if New Zealand had remained under the dependency of New South Wales? I beleive the tangata Maori would have been treated the same as the Australian Aborigines.
The Royal Charter separated New Zealand from New South Wales with a Governor and Constitution to form a government under one flag and one law, irrespective of race, colour or creed.
When we consider what this did for the tangata Maori compared with the Aborigines, there can be no denying, Queen Victoria’s Royal Charter/Letters Papent dated 16 November 1840 was definately New Zealand’s Founding Document, for all the people living in New Zealand, irrespective of race, colour or creed, something highly unlikely if we had remained under the dependency of New South Wales. .
I completely disagree with John Robinson’s view that Te Tiriti is shredded and no longer relevant. Regardless of the the Royal Charter dated 16/11/1840 the fact is that it is the one and only Tiriti that was signed at Waitangi that is the most important document.
The anti-White racist German/Samoan David Lange and his buddies very deliberately used a non-document to create the Treaty of Waitangi Act 1975 and established the Waitangi Tribunal ti steal continuously from the general public of New Zealand.
There is only ONE Tiriti o Waitangi. It is written in Maori, the written language a gift from hardworking beneficent British clergy in the main. There is NO ambiguity, NO “multiple versions”. There is only political skulduggery and communist malfeasance.
Personally I want the New Zealand I grew up in back where we WERE all one people.
