Evaluating The Speeches Of Seymour, Luxon, and Peters At Waitangi
I watched Seymour and Peters give their speeches at Waitangi.
Both were drowned out by protesters.
What was worrying for me was that they were on the defensive.
Luxon, Peters, and Seymour were asked to answer two questions in their speeches.
- What was his vision of New Zealand in 2040.
- And what needs to happen to make that a reality.

2040 is the date Maori say they want complete control of New Zealand, according to the He Puapua report and Maitiki Mai. You can read the report HERE.
In other words, and essentially, Maori at Waitangi wanted to know if the government was “on track” to hand New Zealand over to Maori by 2040. Hard to believe but true.
What should these leaders have said in answer to these two questions?
It’s my view they should have said something like the following.
“When the Treaty of Waitangi was signed here on these grounds 6th February 1840 New Zealand was set on a new course.
- In Article one of the Treaty, Maori ceded sovereignty to the British. This meant that the chiefs gave up complete control to govern the country to the British.
Sir Apirana Ngata said:
“What remains of the Treaty of Waitangi?
What is there in the Treaty that the Maori can today celebrate whole heartedly with you?
Let me say one thing.
Clause 1 of the Treaty handed over the mana and sovereignty of New Zealand to Queen Victoria and her descendants forever.”
- Democracy was installed in this country. How so? Maori were made British citizens. This meant one law for all, and only people voted into power by the people living in the country had a mandate to rule.
As a result of 1 and 2 above, all people were to be treated equally. There was never meant to be two standards of citizenship – one for Maori and one for the rest.
- The British ruled that Maori owned all the land in New Zealand. If the British wanted land, they would have to buy it from Maori. This they did. Maori ended up selling 92% of their land. You can read the facts about this HERE. HERE is another document showing all the land sales in New Zealand pre-1840. This is the record of Maori selling land to settlers.
So what vision ought Peters, Seymour, and Luxon have for New Zealand for 2040? If they are to truly honour the Treaty, and be faithful to its meaning, they must fight for:
- One law for all
- Democracy
- There are 160 cultures living here in New Zealand. They are all to be treated equally.
- There is absolutely no mandate in the Treaty for Maori to be treated separately and with favour. To act in this way is to breach the Treaty.
When you listen to their speeches, generally speaking, they were justifying themselves, being defensive, appeasing Maori. They were not controlling the narrative. Rather they were being controlled. Who gave Maori the right to tell our political leaders what they can and can’t talk about i.e “the two points”? Seymour was the worst. He peppered his speech with Maori words, spoke the language of appeasement often, even calling New Zealand Aotearoa.
As long as this continues from our leaders, points i-iv above will never be achieved.
Rather, Maori will always have the upper hand. What does this mean? It means that inch by inch, they will progress towards their goal of taking over New Zealand by 2040.

Waitangi Day Update
The Stop C0-Governance team will not be attending. If we did it would just be for a media stunt. We also don’t want to give them oxygen. The activists love all the attention. Of course, the MSM and the activists are pumping out misinformation and propaganda about the Treaty like there is not tomorrow.
Our time would be better spent preparing for the rest of the year.

Government Agency Threatens To Fine Stop Co-Governance For Not Using "Licensed" Security Guards At Stop Co-Governance Events In 2023
Last year, 2023, several government agencies / government funded agencies in New Zealand tried to shut the Stop Co-Governance Movement down.
First it was the electoral commission.
Then it was the Human Rights Commission.
Then we found the police were colloborating with the activists.
The Mainstream Media were relentless.
Then the Disinformation Project.
We thought that was the end of government interference.
But it was wasn’t.

What Must Our Imperative Be For The Next 12 Months?
David Seymour’s Treaty Principles Bill is going to happen.
Politicians have made it clear that whether it progresses passed the first reading depends entirely on the public response.
This means that the select committee will weigh the correspondence which comes in.
It will consider those for and those against the Bill.
How can we help?
Our imperative must be to educate the public about the Treaty.
Why? Well, ultimately, the public have the final say as to what ‘goes’ and what does not go.
The last election showed that this was so.
The public, through their votes, have the power to oust MPs and install the same.
The public also has huge power when it comes to public submissions.
So when Seymour’s Bill calls for submissions we want to make sure the public:
- is aware of the issues.
- understands the Treaty.
- make submissions which support David Seymour’s Bill.
With that in mind, and as an organisation, we are going to publish two booklets this year.
The first is called THE PSYCHOLOGY OF TAKEOVER. 18 STRATEGIES MAORI ACTIVISTS ARE USING TO TRY AND TAKE OVER THE COUNTRY. To read the booklet click HERE

Both booklets will a) encourage people to make submissions in support of the Bill b) Encourage to the public to support Winston, Jones, Seymour, and Luxon by emailing them.

Until we educate the people of New Zealand that the Tiriti o Waitangi was only 1 of 6 Documents that made New Zealand into a British Colony under one flag and one law, irrespective of race, colour or creed, Maori will take over New Zealand in 2040.
The Tiriti o Waitangi, “Just 1 of 6 Documents”.
The Tiriti o Waitangi was just 1 of 6 Documents that made New Zealand into a British Colony with a Governor and Constitution that set up New Zealand’s political, legal and justice systems under one flag and one law, irrespective of race, colour or creed. But Governments have completely ignored the other 5 documents that have allowed the Tiriti o Waitangi to be manipulated and mis-interpreted never intended by those who signed it in 1840. The Six Documents are,
1. Letter from the 13 Ngāpuhi Chiefs – 1831. The government ignores the letter the 13 Ngāpuhi chiefs wrote to the King of England asking him to be their guardian and protector. This letter shows Maori were in trouble and needed British protection, not only from themselves, but they were afraid New Zealand was about to be annexed to France.
2. Declaration of Independence – 1835. The government ignores the Declaration of Independence that was a complete failure as the chiefs could not form a united body to claim sovereignty over New Zealand. A fact ruled by Chief Justice, Sir James Prendergast in1877, “No political body existed capable of making cession of sovereignty.
3. Queen Victoria’s Royal Charter – 1839. The government ignores Queen Victoria’s 1839 Royal Charter/Letters Patent that placed New Zealand under the dependency of New South Wales. Britain could not have placed New Zealand under the dependency of New South Wales if Maori had sovereignty over New Zealand.
4. Tiriti o Waitangi – 1840. The government ignores the fact, the Tiriti o Waitangi only asked the Maori chiefs to give up their governments (Tribal control) to Queen Victoria in Article 1. Article 2 guaranteed both Maori and Pakeha the rights to their lands, settlements and property, and Maori could only sell their lands to the Crown at an agreed price. Article 3 made Maori British Subjects with the same rights as the people of England. No more, no less, no Partnership, and definitely no Co-governance, but since the Tiriti o Waitangi was signed, its Maori words have been continually mis-translated to give Maori special rights over all other New Zealand Citizens. As Attorney General, Sir Geofrey Palmer stated on the ABC in 1990, “It is, now, a document that is so vague and unclear, that is its primary problem”.
5. Queen Victoria’s Royal Charter – 1840. The government ignores Queen Victoria’s 1840 Royal Charter/Letters Patent that separated New Zealand from New South Wales dependency and made New Zealand into a British Colony with a Governor and Constitution that created New Zealand’s Legislative and Executive Councils and granted authority to Governor Hobson to make laws. Without Queen Victoria’s 1840 Royal Charter/Letters Patent, New Zealand would have remained under the dependency and laws of New South Wales.
6. First Sitting of the Legislative Council – 1841. The government ignores the First Sitting of the Legislative Council in 1841 that set up New Zealand’s political, legal and justice systems under one flag and one law, irrespective of race, colour or creed.
Until we force governments to recognize these 6 Documents that made New Zealand into a British Colony under one flag and one law, irrespective of race, colour or creed, the Tiriti o Waitangi and the history surrounding it will continue to be rewritten giving Maori special rights and privileges never intended by those who signed it at Waitangi on 6 February 1840 with the words, “He iwi tahi tatou – We are now one people”, before being taken around the country and signed by over 500 chiefs.
There is no other document in New Zealand’s history that comes anywhere near to a true Founding Document and first Constitution than Queen Victoria’s Royal Charter/Letters Patent dated 16 November 1840, but we must not ignore the other 5 documents that made this possible.
