New Plymouth Live Feed Hugely Successful!
I have to say, the activists who were responsible for cancelling our event in Taranaki did us a huge favour.
Usually, we get between 50 and 300 people at our physical meetings.
This morning, I looked at the Facebook statistics for our live feed from our New Plymouth meeting and we reached 5521 people with last night’s presentation.
Many people have shared the post so the impact has been huge.
Our technology was not up to scratch last night, so we’ll work on this for future events and get it perfect.
Conclusion?
Activist death threats and threats to burn buildings, plus all the bullying and intimidation of local organisers has resulted in our evolving into bigger and better.

The live stream was very well done, including the more laid back presentation style than at the outset of SCG talks. Hopefully there will be many other opportunities to live stream. It’s such a great means of reaching large numbers. One suggestion is to allow some time at the end for Q&A, even if this is limited to half a dozen questions, say. Julian’s personal story is important and compelling, as are the conversations with chiefs re sovereignty. I wonder if some of the material at the beginning wouldn’t be better coming at the end as more of a conclusion in context of and in contrast to the real Te Tiriti having been so well articulated.
