I’m totally shocked at the Police’s actions in Whangarei. What on earth has our country come to? I do hope you have another meeting in Whangarei. We obviously can’t rely on the Police any more and free speech seems to have gone also. As said above I’m totally shocked.
Julian I’d suggest handing out a song sheet with words of Jerusalem on it. The next time you’re confronted with waiata then your public could respond in kind. Also enlist the support of a bag piper.
It’s now obvious that we, the majority, whose British/European colonial ancestors established & built this nation, can’t rely on the cops to protect our values, democracy & free speech any more.
The only choice left is to take matters into our own hands. Forming such things as local self defence type militia groups to support brave free speech advocates like Julian Batchelor would be a good way to start.
Also we’d need to arm ourselves with a few ancestral tunes & instruments of our own e.g. drums, bagpipes & songs such as Jerusalem, Scotland the Brave, Amazing Grace, Auld Lang Syne. I’d also suggest a little training in staff fighting & some other self defense art wouldn’t go amiss.
I’ll definitely be donating to his cause. I left an earlier meeting
of Julian’s with the following attitude thinking….
What a fair, balanced and informative meeting. Maybe Julian could invite these PATHETIC police along to his next meeting, so that they can base their decisions on FACT….. not FALSE INFORMATION from ignorant trouble makers!!!!!!
