As I have said, we must get behind Winston, Jones, Seymour, emailing them regularly with encouragement and our full support to expunge co-governance and Maorification from New Zealand.
Leaders need encouragement constantly.
Email Luxon urging him to do what the people of New Zealand elected him to do, which was to rid the country of Maorification and co-governance.
Warn him that he will be a one term PM if he doesn’t.

I am concerned that David Seymour’s Treaty Bill will just open-up another can of worms as Attorney General, Hon Geoffrey Palmer’s, “Five Principles for Crown Action of the Treaty of Waitangi” has done since 1986. The Treaty has only One Principle and that was the one given to the 49 tangata Maori chiefs at Waitangi by Lt. Governor Hobson on 6 February 1840 after they had signed the Tiriti o Waitangi with a handshake and the words, “He iwi tahi tatou – We are now one people“. A documented fact that cannot be denied as there is no other Principle in the Tiriti o Waitangi!
FFS! You miss the point. David’s Bill will draw the debate back to the original Treaty. ie. back to the original Preamble, Articles 1-3, and Affirmation. It will show the existing Treaty principles to be what they really are – nonsense, contrived by activists to make the Treaty say what it does not say. My desire is that because of the debate, the public will see the truth about what has been going on for the last 50 years and kick up a storm. You have to think things through Ross not just keep pumping out the same old same old for 50 years.

Agree with Julian. It all needs to be brought out into the open and discussed. The general public and, it seems, our PM, do not seem to know what the 1840 Treaty actually said. Very simple, clear, and fair document. Should never have been fiddled with. Let’s hope David Seymour can pull this one off.

Heavens Julian. What Ross has been saying for years is the absolute truth. As long as people keep going on and on about the Treaty they elevate it and make it stick in people’s minds so consequently they can’t see past it. There is only one Principle in the Treaty – one only!! That is what Ross has written above about Lt Governor Hobson’s words as he shook hands with all the Chiefs. Everything else has been invented and it changes year on year. It would be helpful if you would show where there are other Principles? The Treaty needs to be buried and the Waitangi Tribunal disbanded forthwith.
Luxon said English names would be promoted over maori to make things easier to navigate for all New Zealanders.To date it seems only Simeon Brown has got to change road transport.So yesterday luxon and Reti open a birthing unit in Wanaka[not south Auckland],The name for this place is Rakai Kahukura[What the hell does this mean? and what is the Maori population in Wanaka? When was the last time anything got an English name?The Americas cup boat with no maori investment, cant even get an English name.
People are ashamed of English names, not proud of them because they have spent the last 50 years being made to feel ashamed of english culture, guilty for its ‘ills’, are uneducated to its strengths and benefits and are suiciding it as I write this, via collective amnesia, ignorance or shame. I am proud of the British empire and my anglo saxon culture and heritage all that it achieved and that does not make me a racist or white supremicist or Maori hater..
We mist re-teach our young their roots and then we can recognise, give gratitude for and protect our – freedom and our rare open non-tribal society.

Greg and Francine, you are right. A multitude of different languages would be spoken amongst the many various immigrant peoples who now call New Zealand home and who retain much of their language and culture within their communities. We have a weak Govt in that they have said pre-election what they would change and continue to say things that they do not not appear to carry out. Was in Palmerston North last week outside the I-Site office where three impressive environmentally “friendly” rubbish bins held pride of place. Printed on three sides from top to bottom in Te Rea was obviously a description of the benefits, use of and reasons for their existence. My challenge is this, get 30 “Maori” off the street to 1/ read it in fluent Te Reo, and 2/ To translate the meaning of the words. They would embarrass themselves…..but…..we all sit back think it okay to promote Te Reo and Aotearoa on the world stage, no doubt at Govt expense, for TV presenters to mix the two languages up in ONE sentence etc etc.
Francine, like you my wife and I have pride in the blood that is within us and acknowledge that we may be Pakeha, BUT we carry the genes of several ancestors, I have five different predominant genes within me and today’s Maori would be the same but they tend to focus solely on what they percieve is their main ancestry, Maori, whilst choosing to ignore this and disrespect the majority of their geneology. This is clearly evident in the growing number of very pale, white looking “Maori”, many resorting to a moko in order to display their loyalty. This was a right once reserved for Huia only, elder women with mana and wisdom.A stone round their neck, a wooden stick and primitive dwellings is all they had to show for six hundred years here, no technology, no progress, no incentive while the rest of the world moved on. We cannot solve this issue, IT HAS to come from within Maoridom itself, from the respected and majority among them. They need to sort out their own….. the radicals among them who gain more power daily, who disregard Parliamentary dress codes and who blame everyone else but themselves for the fact that they cannot be bothered to fill in a Census form, or get their children to a clinic for FREE vaccinations, or look after a their state houses and lead the country in the destructive drug business. So sad, glad I am in my twilight years but what is occurring needs to be stamped out as NZ will be a ZIMBABWE replay of death, anarchy and structure.
