I was at this meeting two weeks ago in Warkworth when Winston gave his speech.

Winston packed out the Warkworth town hall and the atmosphere was electric. 

I think what impressed me more than anything was his statesman like persona.  He is undoubtedly New Zealand’s most experienced and battle hardened MP.

At the end, in a Q and A time, he answered the crucial question which was “In the 2017 election, why did you go with Labour and not National?”  He gives a brilliant clear answer.

Winston, and perhaps only Winston, has the guts, experience, and courage to stop co-goverance.  

Shane Jones, also a Maori, and highly experienced, is perfectly placed to be Winston’s Lieutenant.
