Woke Christian Group Forms And Opposes Julian
There was a news item on the 8am Newtalk ZB news today.
At group called Christian Action Aotearoa run by someone called Alex Johnston has popped up opposing Julian.
As usual, Alex has got it all wrong. We are not opposing all Maori, only corporate Maori or elite Maori. All other Maori we are going in to bat for.

Heard the brief piece on the opposition “Christian” group on Newstalk ZB this morning, shortly after 6am. It mentioned Julian Bachelor and indicated that the group (whoever they really are) would actively oppose meetings. Although it didn’t say so specifically as I recall, there was the sound bite implication of Stop Co-Governance as an extreme right wing group, e.g. “we are engaged in a war..”. Associating “Christian” with being opposed is a cleverly underhanded propaganda strategy.
Generally a truly religious group would refrain from getting involved in politics. On that basis it doesn’t pass the authenticity smell test. Also though it is very clear that Newstalk ZB news, with its Manglish newscaster (something about Arthur Murry A) isn’t immune from woke bias, with the first mention of Stop Co-governance being in a one sided negative context .
The actual news item is now on today’s blog. The group opposing is Christian Action Aotearoa. I Googled them. Nothing came up.
